I will never understand the science behind this. Sometimes I see my LMTN self in the mirror and I am like I look fucking decent, but then, I take a selfie and I look like a LLTN freak. And it’s the same thing in real life, it is like when people see you, it feels like how they look at you in the selfie. But some people say inversion is not true and not how people see you, but yet the mirror is also “unreliable”. I do the same thing with the 2 mirrors, and it looks the same as the photo. So how do people really see you?

Another thing to ask is, how can I make it so people can see me like how I see myself in the mirror? Is it all based on symmetry?

Not well educated on this topic so excuse me if I am being a retard

I mean yo, when I see myself in the camera it’s chill but then one tap, I look like an uncanny asymmetrical freak. It is definitely a big difference. :lul:
but you view yourself as a lot worse than you actually are on the inverted filter + most asymmetries are a mix of slight muscle imbalance & posture related problems, shouldn't take long to fix & it's hard to give advice on being "more symmetrical" bc you need to tailor it to yourself not everyone's asymmetries are the same

I think it is more complicated but I agree the mirror is how people see you… atleast thats what I wanna hope.. but the reality is it is not. It flips your image horizontally so it is like looking in an illusion. The human eye does not see you in the way you see yourself because our eyes just don’t flip. But the inverted effect is also “incorrect” by some people. So what is the real truth?

inverted filter but symmetry barely matters

people see you as you see yourself in the mirror
unless you have a high or low ego

what does ego have to do with how people visually see you lol
"people see you as you see yourself in the mirror"
if you have a high/low ego you will overestimate/underestimate how attractive you so it wont be realistic

But isn’t everyone one way around? There is not really a middle in this.
