How do people trust and believe in religion?

notice how u first said nobody would back you up on a religion you made up, which was what you used as a sign for authenticity of a religion, but suddenly you switched the goalpost? Classic nigger tactics. 🤣
?both are saying the same thing

"Nobody" as in no large amount of people

12 people is not a large amount of people

Yes, there were historians in the time of Jesus who confirmed that these people did indeed claim to see Jesus resurrected

Nearly every historian even the skeptical ones believe that Jesus’ followers genuinely believed they saw him alive after his death
I will look into it more, thanks for answering

Actually those two that he mentioned are insanely famous incidents where a person managed to manipulate many others into suicide bcuz of the made up religion
If you ask 100 people you see how many will say they know about that

So by your logic Christianity was false until millions of people started believing it? When there were 12 disciples it was an invalid religion, but when more people started believing in it, suddenly it became an authentic and real one? Mirin IQ

When you're a child, you get indoctrinated with crap/ you get programmed to follow a book. Don't ask any further questions, just believe without having any proof.
"God can you answer me?"
.........
nope, nothing.
Supposedly created the whole fucking world in 7 days, but is unable to fucking answer.
"oh muh God moves in mysterious ways" cope.
That's all they got.

By the way, the account for jesus' resurrection is often cited by Christians as "500 people saw him resurrect bro!", but it's actually ONE guy claiming 500 people saw him resurrect, making the claim even less defensible in all ways 🤣

If that would be true, God would have sent 1 of these people who raise from the dead every couple of years, to keep the proof alive and not let it sink into doubtfulness.

What bro

How are some of you so religious? How can you trust something theres no proof about? Ive always felt like religions are just cults made up on fake stories and twisting history. I mean maybe you could fool people 2 thousand years ago about something but i dont see how its possible today? Prove me otherwise.

I mean it depends on what you count as "proof" and if you take metaphysics as a tool to make arguments about "x" things
I'm not going to write a full essay on it but basically it would be something like this. Basically the following scheme would work like
"We have x system → that system helps us to build arguments in favor of y"
  • Metaphysics → God exists
  • Philosophy → God is unique, intelligent, truthful, relational
  • Philosophy of religion and modal logic → revelation is possible
  • Historical signs and internal coherence... etc→ revelation is credible
  • Faith → acceptance of revealed content
  • Dogma → the Trinity as revealed truth
  • Theology → conceptual explanation of the Trinity

(This one would be in the case of Christianity and viceversa)

Big difference between real and somewhat real ( you didnt say somewhat real), jesus was on earth so that part makes it somewhat real but idk about miracles:HMMMM:

I was mainly talking about your inability to write consecutive logical sentences, which you didnt do, you managed to contradict yourself three times in five replys

Lucifer revolted against God, even though he shouldn't have had free will due to being an angel AND he knew God existed for a FACT, which means that there's literally zero point to God not revealing himself to humanity, because people could still just choose to not follow his ways despite knowing he is real, making the free will defense for this shit irrelevant 🤣

I would say existence is more rational than non existence
I think there are greater arguments in favor of existence
What we would argue is that the "mode" of existence changes

2000 years ago people were fooled by religion now people are fooled by the jews and there’s people like u still stuck on the meaningless past of religion thinking you’ve discovered for not believing in it and living how live would be normally lived anyway you’re distracted from the current world

Why do we believe that theres a creator behind?
Everything comes from something before it. When you were born you don’t just pop up, you were biologically made by your parents

It would be something like this, I tried to simplify it so you can get a basic idea
Also there would be the "levels of reality or the being" and viceversa, I would recommend Scotus on that one.
  • Actual → exists in reality here and now (e.g., a person).
  • Potential → can come into existence (e.g., an unbuilt house).
  • Necessary → cannot not exist (e.g., God in classical metaphysics).
  • Contingent → exists but could fail to exist (e.g., animals, planets, universe).
  • Abstract → exists as a concept or in logic/mind (e.g., numbers).
  • Immaterial/Spiritual → exists without matter, according to metaphysical frameworks (e.g., soul, angels).

for the past 60 years the decline of tradition which was primarily based on religious values has led to mass nihilism, lawlessness, faggotry, and the downfall of civilization. If the people don’t believe in anything they become savages
