How do you get thick dark hair like this?

I have black hair but it's so wire-like that it looks almost african

He has Indian hair, which is actually really good ironically. They have top tier texture, density, and balding genes. The thing is that despite having Indian hair, he lucked out on having Caucasian facial features and light coloring. Without his texture this won't work:

You can't do anything besides sleep with a hat on like a black woman without a weave. I got the same problem. If I don't keep my hair short it doesn't look good, unless I got hat head.

My parents both have thick hair but I never wash my hair and ldar instead so maybe that’s why it seems wiry

having thick or thin hair is genetic, my hair is also very thick but since I am a balding subhuman it doesnt count

healthy hair should be thick, straight and fast growing (ofc there are phenotype deviations) but you likely just have unhealthy hair

Unironically wash your hair more often, and also use conditioner for extra softness
