How You Can Get Leaner Way Faster
I see way too many people asking how to lose fat faster and then completely ignore the things that actually matter. There isn't some hidden trick that only influencers know about. At the end of the day you have to be in a calorie deficit. If you're burning more calories than you're eating, you'll lose fat. If you're not, you won't. Every diet works because it helps people eat fewer calories, not because it's somehow magical. One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to lose weight as fast as possible by barely eating. Yeah you'll lose weight faster at first, but you'll also feel like shit, your workouts will suck, you'll be hungry all day and there's a much higher chance you'll end up binge eating and gaining it back. A moderate calorie deficit is almost always the better option if you actually want to stick to it.
Protein is also way more important than people think. If you're eating enough protein and lifting weights you'll keep a lot more muscle while you're losing fat. If you don't, your body isn't just losing fat, its losing muscle too. Research consistently shows higher protein intakes during weight loss help preserve lean mass. (PubMed)
Cardio helps, but not because it magically burns fat. It just lets you burn more calories. You don't need to run for an hour every day either. Even walking every day can make a huge difference because it's easy to recover from and easy to stay consistent with.
I usually do around 10-15k steps daily while on 4500 cals on high day
Then there's the drug question because everyone asks about it.
Retatrutide is probably one of the most effective weight loss drugs we've seen so far. It works mainly by reducing appetite and helping people stay in a calorie deficit, not by magically melting fat off your body. In a Phase 2 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine), people receiving the highest dose lost an average of about 24% of their body weight after 48 weeks, but they were also eating less because the medication made it easier to do so. The most common side effects were nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation. (New England Journal of Medicine)
Clenbuterol is another one people always bring up. Yes, it can increase energy expenditure a little, but people massively overestimate how much it actually does. The fat loss from clenbuterol is nowhere near as dramatic as people on TikTok make it sound, and it comes with real risks like increased heart rate, heart palpitations, tremors, anxiety and putting extra stress on your heart. If your diet isn't in check, clen isn't going to save you.
At the end of the day the people that get lean the fastest aren't the people buying every drug they see online. They're the people that stay in a calorie deficit every single day, eat enough protein, train hard and stay consistent for months. That's honestly the boring answer, but its also the one backed by the most evidence.
To Sum It Up:
Defecit + 10-15k steps + Hard Training With Enough Protien to support muscle growth as you can still grow in a deficit if its not too steep causing alot of energy loss = fat loss and maybe muscle added
Also if your new to the gym high chance you can gain alot more muscle then someone that is 1/2+ years inside gym
