How do you train yourself to stop opening your mouth so quickly whenever you have something to say?
I’ve noticed that a lot of the time it’s actually better to stay quiet, listen and think instead of immediately saying whatever comes to mind. Sometimes talking too much can make you look less confident or less composed.
Is there a practical way to develop the habit of pausing before speaking and only saying something when it actually adds value?
Basically: how do you become the type of person who is comfortable with silence and doesn’t feel the need to fill every moment with talking?
