How do you recover from hardcore gore?

Anyway, do you have any psychological issues regarding traumas from witnessing kitten, children or people in general getting tortured/ raped slowly? Honestly just try avoiding it as much as you can, last time i watched it was when the cat gore on here was posted but im already so desensitized it was just disgusting in the end. but tbh do things you enjoy to forget about it
