I’ve this found in my 3 month treatment so far on accutane (last month went up to 20mg) that when I go for a walk for an hour or so (when i forget to put sunscreen on my neck) that I don’t really burn except get a tan (i don’t usually tan very well) instead of a sunburn, is there a specific reason why?

I wonder why

maybe your skin tone or melanin response is just kicking in more than usual. some people tan instead of burning depending on genetics and UV exposure. but yeah technically accutane doesn’t reduce sun sensitivity, so that reaction’s kinda unexpected.
