I’ve just seen Giant’s new story and in his method he places the craniofacial plates right over the zygomatico-orbital foramina

wouldn’t that be dangerous and increase the risk of complications?

I showed the design to my friend (medicine student) and an ER surgeon and they agreed with me and cursed me out for supporting cosmetic use of OBO jfl

Am I missing something and the nerves wouldn’t get damaged or is giant speedrunning medical malpractice? Surgerybros please help me out:FeelsOkayMan:

Here’s the full design btw

You and the ER doctor have no idea what they are talking about. Instead of assuming I'm speed running to medical malpractice how about you don't assume you know anything in practice just because you learned some very basic anatomy. A medical student and ER doctor also have no familiarity with craniofacial surgery.

The zygomatic nerve is always sacrificed in facial implant and any mid facial ostoeotmy procedures (like OBO) where full degloving of the midface is necessary. This is the standard everywhere for the last 30 years.

It's a very minor nerve and not important. It has collateral innervation from the Infraorbital nerve which is always preserved. Almost nobody notices any loss of sensation and if they do it's a small area that they will regain from infraorbital nerve after a few months.

In reality the zygomatic nerve is also a bit lower than the anatomy book you are showing.

I’m not hating on you, I know you know your stuff and are one of the most sought after designers by the community. That malpractice part was a joke so, sorry if it seemed offensive.

Also the ER doctor is a 60 year old arabcel so I was sceptical to what he said

Thanks for the response❤️
I know I have barely basic knowledge on the topic and that’s why I asked instead of assuming that you’re a botcher like many retards say

Do you have a medical degree? If not, do you make it clear during consultation and planning that you do not have one?

@RealSurgerymax He does not, which is the funniest thing about him (aside from being a gay Christian). Confirm or deny. Show proof of degree

(Everything I said is fiction, role-play strictly for comedy, with no intention of harming someone's reputation)

He doesn’t have a degree however what he has is at least 3 years of experience and satisfied customers. It might’ve been relevant if it was me (a high schooler with interest in plastic surgery) making baseless claims but what he said has already happened and there’s no proof that his OBO method is wrong either. Degree doesn’t guarantee skills or knowledge and vice versa.

So, how is it relevant that he doesn’t have a degree when he’s already delivered satisfactory results? (I might be wrong so don’t take it as an attack or anything, I’m just curious)

Kys (in Minecraft) for being so stupid.
You just confirmed that he does not have a degree, yet you fail to recognize why that is relevant.

Would you trust dental care to someone without a dentistry degree?
Would you allow orthodontic treatment from someone without orthodontic training?
Would you hire a lawyer without a law degree?
Would you hire an architect who isn’t licensed?

This is not a hobby that can be self-taught. Specialized medical procedures require formal education and training.
That is why he does not have a medical degree, residency training, or a craniofacial surgery fellowship.
You should also ask yourself why he only assists in surgeries in Turkey and not in developed countries with stricter medical regulations.

Good luck to anyone getting their surgical plan 'planned' by a gay Christian (@RealSurgerymax ) who is neither licensed nor holds a relevant degree.

Still irrelevant to this post since I asked a question about a surgery that already has been successfully performed and he answered correctly. I asked what happens to the zygomatico-orbital foramina and V2, not if Liam has a license. If you wanna ask him those questions then gtfo to profile posts:lul:

I have still yet to see a botched surgery that was fully his fault

Also I respectfully recommend you stfu and educate yourself about law and previous cases if you think those meme-level brackets would actually protect you against a lawsuit

Successfully performed? Can we see before and after photos? Can we get a statement from the patient? Can Giant himself confirm that it was successful and that the aesthetic result meets the expected standard?
I advice you to log off retarded nigger

Idk if he can but I doubt the patient wouldn’t speak up about getting a botched OBO jfl. Also a patient who asked to get his face blurred out probably won’t provide you the before and after pictures because everyone in the community knows that foids will look down on him if they find out that his face isn’t natural:lul:

I doubt he’ll respond but

@RealSurgerymax have you successfully performed orbital box osteotomy before? Were the aesthetic results satisfactory? And why is this sub80IQ malding so hard?
Hope Thailand’s going well

He doesn't do surgery he just designs implants and osteotomies.

Look it up - people wouldn't hesitate to go Ramieri or Pagnoni and their implant designers don't have a medical licence or degree but then second guess Liam's ability.

He's just got great marketing that makes it look like he's a surgeon especially with his username on this site.
