It's more important to be white or at least from a first world country.
You can be shy and you'll still get laid in the Philippines because the competition is going to be very low for you if you are white or from a first world country. The same thing goes for Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
If you are white, you can also get a lot of success in China, South Korea and Japan.
It is much easier to get laid in all of those countries than in the west (North America, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand)
However, the effect only applies if you come from the west while for people who come from third world countries, their SMV is generally much lower than those who come from a first world country, no matter where they are in the world. But if you never leave first world countries, then you'll never be able to reap the benefits and you'll have to settle for less or remain an incel.
Also, I know that Japan and South Korea are first world countries, but you still get a halo there if you're white.
