How is nicotine addictive?

I have vaped every day for two weeks and don't have any urges to do it. The only thing I like about nicotine is the dopamine rush. It kind feels like an MDMA rush. It also makes me super horny. But other than that I don't regard it as a substance without which I can't live normally. I have quit it for a few days just in case it takes longer to get that physical dependence, but no urges to smoke again whatsoever.

You can’t compare nicotin and stuff to likes of mdma. Mdma is just way too strong to get addicted to it. While nicotine, cocaine or that stuff makes the day you have more bearable. Yo can function while on those. You can’t function on mdma. Over time you get used to that slightly better day and don’t want to go back.

I got the ice homie. Nicotine is child's play for me.

I'm just saying that the initial rush of nicotine, like first/second/third hit of the day hits me like a train. I feel an intense pleasing rush throughout the body and my coordination is messed up for like 20-40 seconds.

Vaping isnt the same as nicotine. I tried getting a vape to cut down on smoking and it did nothing for me.

The fact that you think it is pure nicotine tells me you don't even know what concentration you are vaping, and hence are probably vaping a very low concentration.

Cigs have some potent MAOI effects that vaping lacks btw, one of the huge reasons cigs are more addictive. Even meth didn't get me as addicted as cigarettes did. Im 3 months clean now but if someone is smoking in front of me i always have the urge to ask him for a smoke. Basically the MAOI in the cig is what gives it that serene feeling effect and peace that pure nicotine lacks
