how long did it take you to become conviced to do surgery?

I always hated my looks since about 15 and I'm 24 now and only now i know for sure i want to do invasive surgery.
So almost a decade of misery and coping with:
gymcelling
diet (i had brief period of binge eating and purging at like 17-18)
mewing
jutting
pretending to ignore my looks
hoping it will sometimes get better on it own
but now I finally know for sure I want to do bimax and will get orthognathic appointment asap.

How long did it take you to become convinced with hardmaxxing?

I had eyeslaser just recently. I wanted that for many years.
I lean heavily to wanting lipcorrection surgery, for sure on lower lip, Upper lip, I dunno I dare yet. Lower lip will be an easy one. Gotta pony up 1300 euro per lip though,
