How long do braces take ?

I'm thinking about getting braces soon on my looksmaxxing journey. How long do they usually take to straighten out your teeth.

Depends if you have a type of malocclusion (overbite, underbite, Freibier etc.) How crowded and out of place your teeth are.
And what your goals are. (Straight teeth, functional bite, wider smile…)
