Go in a deficit , im 13 trying to get fit again but what I did which worked for me is cut and spam cardio and walked alot and sprinted , make sure to stay active and do weightlifting , at a low weight loss it will be significant over time and you can gain muscle and since your only doing around a 600 to 700 deficit u wont have that much of a difference in growth hormone and if u do you will rebound back and have a rebound phase one you eat normal again maybe in a slight surplus
