i see thats explain it.

doubt you'll see them that many times by the time you're 25
eh those aren't school friends we didn't bond because of context , i think they'll stay my friends for a long time honestly

I skip meetups with my uni friends because they end up clubbing and I am very against that

even people who have very close friends sooner or later would not see their friends that often, because they simply dont have that time anymore - after you get jobs and girlfriends, you won't see them that often anymore

OP wants to compare his social life with ours, that’s why he‘s asking 💀🙏🥀💔

Did you get anything from the degree.
As I understand you don't have a job related to it.
I got that I don't want to do some "professional" job like science or something
Also it's better to do something easy than follow your "interests", and use your free time for that

But idk tbh, I'm in security atm, but idk if I'll do that long term

You did stem?
Professional jobs just suck.
Trashman and newspaper delivering are real jobs.

I did marine biology, which was stupid in hindsight. I did it cause I was interested in it, but didn't realise how hard it was to get a job. (Ok, not necessarily stupid, cos idk what other degree I would've done, and I got to doss around for a couple of years at uni)

I mean, you need a masters degree for most biology jobs anyway. So even to change field and stay within biology, I could've used that bachelors and done a different masters. But it's still competitive af (especially anything nature related), and I didn't want to do a masters and spend years in shitty junior roles in research or whatever. I want to be chilling by/on the ocean, not in a lab with a microscope, or fuck knows what else.

So I basically lost any desire to grind or get a "good" job. Now I want easy jobs and to live by the sea. I don't feel guilty for not doing something I feel passionate about, because I learned there are already more people than needed in those fields, so I can just keep it as an interest while others do the work

Being "NEET" is realistically unsustainable and a justification used by fragile teens and young adults

There are two main ways: living off your family (by far the most common), which is not good long term. You don't want them to see you as a leech; or living off "welfare/benefits". This is mostly larp and doesn't apply to most countries/people. And you'll live a shit life in some council flat surrounded by chavs

The best path you can take is to save up for a cheap tiny house/cabin somewhere quiet and not too cold, maybe abroad, either through inheritance money or working a few years first. Then buy that (have solar power) and work part time for food and any other costs

I don't know what to believe from you. How are you going to afford that? Live with parents and do nothing? They'll allow that? Didn't you claim to be like 26?
