title, what's the sort of range one should be looking for in regard to bimax movements for sleep apnea? i know theres a huge amount of range but what would you say is the bare minimum? my surgeon has so far planned 4mm upper jaw and 7mm lower jaw but I fear this is not enough, no?
My lower maxilla is also quite visibly recessed (But chin looks fine to normies) with nose looking big so I think I could do quite a bit more without dogmaxx.
I have a deep overbite btw

Have you seen your CT scans? You can go measure your airway and see what improvement these movements actually represent proportionally to what’s there already.

My airway is 7mm circle at narrowest on my scan and I have snoring but not really Sleep Apnea.

Priority should be aesthetics. 5mm may help but 10mm would make a much better visual improvement. The recovery sucks anyway, just go for as much as you can get.
