How much can Bimax boost looks? Is the cost and time and effort worth the results?

Only would improve side profile. Useless if you're doing just for aesthetic reasons rather get implants

The bimax is the most changing surgery you can undergo(excluding lf2/3). 9 times out of 10 it's worth it.

It just improves side profile. Imo bimax isn't an aesthetic surgery.

She didn't do it just for aesthetic reasons. It won't help most of us here because we're more or less normal. Only implants can give chad lower third

You guys are retarded. The drastic differences happen in people with clinical "deformities" (for a lack of a better word), not in completely average people. Moving from decent forward growth->slightly above decent forward growth is not going to make you "gigachad".

It isn't genuine jfl

bimax can improve looks by a huge amount but only if you are literally deformed to begin with. if you are average looking without a diagnosable jaw deformity, not only would your appearance not be changed significantly with bimax surgery, but you would never be able to afford it or find a surgeon willing to operate on you

I had lefort 1, there is a noticable improvement from the front but it is seriously not much of a boost, people say I look better (people who didn't even know I had surgery) but it isn't much change tbh, just think about it, it is only 4mm forward, just a slight increase onto someones looks (and only in some cases)

Same, except that I had a bit more of a movement.
It's just not cost efficient.
Yes I do look different, but not significantly better, just different.
The amount of time, money and effort wasted to have these changes just not really worth it.

absolutely its a big cost, big effort and should only really be done if the jaw is noticably recessed or you have an overbite/underbite. Seriously it is like so expensive plus 4 weeks of feeling tired and unenergetic. everyone says no pain no gain but alot of the jaw surgery before and afters are frauded and it is really not such a significant boost in aesthetics

Would it be worth it in my case?

If you're recessed af and would have a perfect bimax with rotation? 2 PSL points easily.
If you're average/ somewhat recessed? 1 point, assuming it's done well.
Costs? 20K, year of braces preparation + visits, 1-2 month recovery, scrubs left in you mouth (you can have a surgery for removal of these), loss of sensation, tons of potential complications.

Would it be worth it in my case?
you actually do appear to have a good case for jaw surgery, is your bite messed up? looks like possible overbite. Needs a professional opinion tho. Aesthetically you would improve with bimax for sure

I have marked where the teeth are. Slight overbite and the teethline (where upper and lower teeth meet) is parallel to the eye-ear line, which is the healthy case. Just very small jaws and almost no chin bone.

I see. This is perfect because an overbite is medically classified as a functional deformity which means insurance companies WILL cover the surgery. (I had a slight underbite and my bimax surgery was fully covered by insurance; all I had to pay was hospital fees etc.)

With your case, your lower jaw and chin are both very small/recessed. Your maxilla and midface in general does not look terribly recessed, if at all, and judging by the shape of your nose it doesn’t look horribly hooked downward or anything, which is of course a symptom of a recessed maxilla.

With that being said, in your case I would still opt to have the maxilla brought forward a little, maybe 2-3mm (consult a surgeon for a real assessment) and then try to have your mandible brought forward as much as possible which will probably be like 7-9mm (again I am just guessing based on one picture.) Also you should try to get advancement sliding genioplasty as much as possible, like 10mm+ tbh. You need lower third moved forward as much as possible. Also, if you get the genioplasty and bimax at the same time it is likely that it will all be covered by insurance even though a genioplasty is typically not covered due to being mostly seen as purely cosmetic.

It improves your aesthetics in motion by an absurd amount

"muh it only affects side profile"

it hugely affects every single angle except your direct front, which people are barely ever seeing you from. they see your face move around. they see your 3/4ths.
Would it give the same effect as jutting? Jutting my lower jaw forward increases my face overall, so im thinking bimax might be viable.

One of the biggest ascensions I have seen is a user over on lookism - he ascended like 3 PSL.

if your maxilla is recessed as your jaw it will look brutally stupid by just bringing your jaw forward.

jutting makes me look good from the side but from the front look like a pan faced gook because it makes my maxilla look recessed

DEPENDS.

I studied many cases of Bimax, and the difference between a wast of money and a successful bimax are.. details.

For example Genioplastic is CRUCIAL, that what really improves frontal and 3/4 mainly, remember you can square, enlarge and give anterior projection with your bones.

Or how we can't forget labiomentalfold, most of surgeons don't give a fuck to fill that area, is crucial.

If you do correctly details, Bimax is a 100% life changing.
