Could anyone help us out? @Seth Walsh @CursedOne
There are different medications against adhd, if adhd was diagnosed you can try asking your doctor to give you different medication and try what works best for you.
Of course pills work and help you concentrating better otherwise students wouldnt take these pills.

I try to read 1 chapter of a book per day before bed, view it as mental training similar to physical training (lifting weights, cardio)

Usually works out to finishing a couple of books per month.

Aren't you a biochemist? Tips on increasing concentration intensity and time span?
Lol no I don’t have any qualifications in that area at all. I just used to give my opinion on biochem but am in no way qualified.

Best tip to increase concentration imo is to avoid stuff like amphetamines and modafinil. Sure they work, but the main problem is all the distractions. Stuff like this site, YouTube, browsing Instagram, even stuff like eating snacks and just wasting time without purposefully concentrating on whatever you need to be focusing on.

Vitamin b1 in the form TTFD can help activate D1 dopamine receptors so that might be helpful and safer than hard drugs.

Cut out all shit like porn and create productive routines. After a few months or a year you’ll feel a new feeling of doom/worry when you’re not getting stuff done, and that feeling really helps you stay focused and concentrated on whatever needs to be done, until it’s done.

I was on concerta and ritalin for 3.5 years and it definitely changed my brain to the point where I never procrastinate. Not doing something that needs to be done just isn’t an option. So if I need to study or focus on a task, I’ll do it.

The nootropic “Bromantane” increases tyrosine hydroxylase which is a rate limiting enzyme which converts tyrosine to L-dopa (L-dopa then gets converted to dopamine). So low dose bromantane definitely helps increase motivation and it’s non habit forming and not too stimulating (20-50mg)…

The main thing is just replacing all your habits with productive routines… exercising, going gym….

You want to have responsibilities and you want to develop the feeling that ITS OVER if you neglect your responsibilities.

Those responsibilities also need to be really meaningful and purposeful.

Amphetamines and AMPAkine/wakefulness drugs won’t do shit.

As cheesy as it sounds, whatever you want to do has to come from you. Having high dopamine helps you persist and stay focused towards your goals.

Great tips. I already do sports 3 times a week ( Kickboxing / fitness).

I'm gonna buy centrum Multivitamin which contains b1.

Currently on nofap day 3 but if you don't have gf or fwb it's just unrealistic to get above 7 days imo.

The thing regarding studying is that i am absolutely retarded in languages and social sciences. I am very knowledgeable but my exam essays always suck. Meanwhile math, physics are easy bc its just a matter of training and doing practice exams for weeks before exams.

How can i improve in languages and social sciences?

With languages try to speak them as much as possible. Focus on trying to get to a conversational level and then worry about syntax, grammar etc rather than the other way around.

That multivitamin won’t contain thiamine tetrahyrofurfuryldisulphide (ttfd)….

only products I know that are the TTFD type of thiamine are Thiamax and Allithiamine

go read cal newport books or blog . BUt not all books because he regurgitates a lot .
