How much does a bimax ascend me?

I'm getting bimax + genioplasty surgery in 3 days at 17 years old. I'm getting it performed by Dr Kater (Frankfurt am Main, Germany), he's very experienced but rather conservative with his movements so i won't get anything above 7 - 8mm movements. My question is how much of an ascend can I expect realistically? My occlusion is already pretty good.

yeah bimax and genio will ascend pretty hard

its hard to predict tho very strong mtn

My recession is very similar to yours on the scan, i think you need more than 7-8mm bro.

Do you know if you'll get a ccw rotation ? Posterior downgraft ?

bimax is a ccwr advancement surgery where they make an osteotomy in yhe maxilla and mandible which literally provides ccwr????

i'll get a ccw, genioplasty and HOSO (bsso type) i think that i'll get 5mm Bsso, 6mm genio and ccw do you thnk it's enough

so i would assume his surgeon recommended this

he lacks ccw which could prevent airways and his retrognathic bite among other shit he needs it

It will ascend you for sure but i think 6mm bsso is a little bit light, i didnt know about HOSO im curious to see the result. Do you know why your surgeon chose this over regular bsso ?

Yes and you can get more bsso advancement when you get a ccw without adding more advancement to the maxilla

ccw is a part of a bimax surgery, you just rotate the lower jaw counter clockwise AND advance it at the same time
