I’ve been skinny my entire life and due to the fact that I have a wide upper third people tend to point out that my head is out of proportion. Wondering if gaining weight would have an effect on facial width to balance out the wide upper third and whether or not it gets rid of the gaunt look as my by browridge is well projected while my midface appears flat, even sunken in some angles making me look super odd from the 3/4 profile. 19, 181cm 60kg at most.

The facial hollowing achieved through being underweight is fundamentally different from true debloating at a healthy weight.
In the first case, you suffer from the depletion of essential deep fat pads. This leads to accentuated nasolabial folds, hollowed temples, and prominent dark circles under the eyes. Furthermore, it can cause a loss of volume in the cheek area, making the face look gaunt and aged rather than defined, while leaving the skin dull and lacking elasticity due to compromised collagen production

My temples aren’t hollow, they’re the widest points on my face if anything

Do you have a retruded jaw? Sometimes your temples may appear wider than they actually are due to mandibular retrusion or hypertrophy of the temporalis muscle

wait this is my exact situation. how do I go about fixing this just gaining weight?

This is actually one of the simplest things to fix and is done simply by gaining weight. You need to restore the fat pads loss while simultaneously avoiding long-term facial fat accumulation and the bloated appearance caused by water retention. Avoid maingaining at the beginning, because your body first needs to recover from underweight, so a slight caloric surplus is best. Consider supplements to restore collagen and fibroblast production to restore the extracellular matrix
