How much Height do elevator shoes actually give vs advertised height?

Do elevator shoes give there advertised/claimed height or slightly less than them. Not cheap ones but actual good ones. I am using insoles and they give half of advertised height.

Currently frauding 1 inch AF1 high top + 1.75 inch lift(gives 1.2 inch) = 2.2 inch height. Want to get 3 inches from elevator shoes. Should I order 3 inch or higher?
