why your lifestyle is lowkey ruining your looks and nobody here talks about it properly
ngl most threads here keep repeating the same surface level advice but then completely ignore what people actually DO daily that messes everything up
like yeah everyone says “fix skin” “get lean” but then you see the same guys drinking every weekend, vaping 24/7, popping random stuff and wondering why they still look tired asf
first thing is alcohol. people underestimate this hard. its not just “hangover haha”. alcohol literally dehydrates you, your face looks flatter but not in a good way, more like dull and puffy at the same time. especially under eyes get worse, skin tone uneven, you just look off the next days. and if youre doing it often it stacks. your sleep also gets cooked even if you think you slept long. its not deep sleep so your face never really recovers
then nicotine (vapes, cigs, sins whatever). again people cope like its just a small thing”. no. it messes with bloodflow, skin gets worse over time, healing is slower, lips look worse, and it can make you look more stressed. also appetite gets weird so some people either get too skinny in a bad way or just dont have stable diet. both not good for looks
and then random pills/supps people take without thinking. like mixing painkillers, energy drinks, whatever. your body isnt some lab experiment. if your system is stressed your face will show it, simple as that
what im trying to say is: you cant out-hack a bad lifestyle. you can have a perfect skincare routine and still look mid if your sleep is trash and you’re constantly putting stress on your body
i tested this myself. periods where i had clean sleep, less alcohol, less nicotine = face looked sharper, skin calmer, eyes less dead. then phases where i didnt care = instantly worse again
its not complicated but people dont want to hear it because its boring. ddiscipline clears random hacks
im not saying you have to live like a monk but if youre serious about improving you at least need to be aware what actually holds you back
