Puahate
"PUAhate" was launched in 2009 by a former student of Real Social Dynamics as a forum to criticize pickup artists, but it evolved into a hub for looks theory and proto-incel ideology.
"Sl*thate" further developed the community's focus on facial aesthetics and rating systems before experiencing server issues. Its name was off putting (people would love promiscuity if they were beneficiaries of hypergamy and not ugly subhumans) so this forum never gained mass traction.
Lookism
In June 2015, users largely migrated to Lookism.net, which became the largest iteration of the "PSL" community (PUAhate, Sluthate, Lookism). This refines the work of the past 2 forums. From here, you had a division: looksmaxxers would largely love to lookism.net and inkwels would move to .org.
Lookism.net explicitly identified as an incel forum around 2017 and served as the primary hub for looksmaxxing and the blackpill ideology until it officially shut down in December 2021 after being repeatedly hacked by a hacker from zesty or zesto or something like that.
Key OG figures
The first PSL/blackpill youtuber was definitely FACE AND LMS (2015) and proceeding that tails (now tailspilled).
The first looksmax youtuber who showed his face, between 2016-2019 was this unc called astrosky.
Between 2012-2025 you've had thousands of anonymous blackpill editors (eg pslgodmindset) + early 2014-2019 figures in the psl community
You also had the first bonesmasher youtuber; a swiss guy called indigenousswiss back in 2019-2020 (videos deleted jfl).

All the ideology and ratios was explored by 2020, and only needed projection.
The newgen just copied everything, monetized with products, added their autistic personalities and were louder and more ostentatious.
In around 2020 and to present day, syrian psycho, loox (angrogenic), nocturnal kent created the next wave.
Then obviously clavicular going viral and becoming a pseudo celebrity in 2025, cemented looksmaxxing as the dominant culture of the youth (but all the hard work + priming was done by 2020 from the forums/users between 2009-2020).

- Following the 2014 Isla Vista killings by autistic subhuman incel Elliot Rodger, who cited the forum, PUAhate shut down and its users migrated to Sluthate in May 2014.
