How reliable are online facial analyses compared to an in-person consultation with an orthodontist or a maxillofacial surgeon?

Asking this because some people online say things like:
You need x surgery or x orthodontic procedure, and I don´t think that I need cirugy or orthodontics as I already had an orthodontic procedure by a proffesional
This is just an example.
I have also seen people saying that they need a bimax while the professionals tell them that they don´t need it.
