How serious are bad surgeon reviews?

Hi there,

I have already sheduled:

- Undereye fat graft in October
- Upper eyelid filler in November
- Hair transplant with Dr. Freitas by June 2024

Now I want to shedule my primary rhino by Dec. or Jan.

The problem here is to find a surgeon who is good with male noses. I found one who is located in Turkey and his before/after stuff (videos and photos) looks amazing.
However he had 4-5 bad reviews on reddit and users claimed that his staff tries to delete all the bad articles about him.

How serious do you take bad reviews?

2.) the surgeon is quick to respond and call the patient in for a chekup/redo/touchup.
3.) if the patient is just stupid and didn't know what they were getting and is getting angry because the surgeon did their job.

Revisions aren't that uncommon and there's always the chance an infection can occur. It's always important that a surgeon responds responsibly and accordingly and doesn't leave the patient's case on read.

any rhinoplasty surgeons that you can recommend? for male noses especially. And I don't want to pay tens of thousands of dollars or euros for a primary rhino.

Dr. Jose Cortes is a Mexican rhino (and genioplasty) surgeon with a good rep who works on both a lot of female and male patients. But his patients consist of mostly hispanics so I don't know how well he'd handle foreigner cases.

He does have some foreigner cases though.

He charges around 4k for his rhinos iirc. No idea how much he charges for genio though.

Even the best surgeons with decades of experience will have an odd review or two that rates them very harshly. I would personally just go by the overall sentiments of people that have had their surgeries by the said surgeon. See what you have in common with those people, and what you don't. Obviously, if that is still not enough to properly convince you, you could also schedule a consultation.

His content of the before and after looks amazing. However they say that he charges way too much money, botched a few noses and isn't comprehensible and reasonable. If it goes wrong he blames the patient. There are 5-6 reviews like that online.

Even though I really like his uploaded work I am not sure if I would like to be operated by such a douchebag.

I don't see too much of a difference but it could be due to the differences in camera angle and lighting. The nose tip might've been lowered from being upturned? Would need more viewpoints to be certain however.
