I appreciate this analysis, this is essentially a black-pilled forum, so the bp is MASSIVELY glazed by its users without choosing to acknowledge its problems, just like any pill, the bp also has its issues. Yeah, social media made people cynical, but humans still crave connection no matter how much they intellectualize it and even if infatuation fades, people still build deep bonds over time. If you accept that love isn’t magic (which is the most realistic thing to do) but a mix of biology, timing and shared life, it stops feeling that "fake". Like, you don’t stop eating food just because you know how digestion works or what makes a food "delicious", maybe you get a new perspective on it, but you can still get pleasure out of the experience. Aside from not believing that love has to be this "Disney-like" perfect thing, my personal method is blissful ignorance, whenever I find myself in these nihilistic patterns, I just turn my brain off and choose to ignore it and ironically that works many times. I mean, the more we try to intellectualize stuff, the more disconnected from reality we become, the human experience is too complex to try and reduce it to a single formula, like trying to find Laplace’s Demon. But the human experience is too complex to fully model. Even if you understand all the biology (attraction, neurochemistry), psychology (attachment styles), and sociology (status, looks, competition), you still can’t completely predict or control how relationships will unfold.

Essentially the way I see it just existentialism rebranded, From a certain point of view you can equate the blue, black and redpill to certain philosophies (like Nietzche's nihilism, Camus' absurdism, etc.), thankfully philosophers have been debating these topics for hundreds of years coming to conclusions of their own to try and "deny" all of this hypothesis. My personal favorite is to just accept that people still want the experience, even if it’s partly fake, the world is absurd and trying to grapple with that fact is absurd onto itself, so why get worked up about? This obviously isn't the most "intellectually honest" response, but it's the one that will cause the least amount of suffering, so I suppose it has some merit.

That's as many thoughts as I have on the matter, beyond that, you're right, about everything.

These videos make me want to die. There was a time when heaven was on earth, and boomers killed it. They had it so good and will never know it. They actually blame US for how things are.
