The only times i can manage to study is when it really matters (exam in 1or2 weeks or assigments due in a day)

In uni right now and i dont go to any classes, so i try to sit down and study at home, but knowing i have alot of time until the exams makes it difficult.

Go to class.
Put yourself in an environment to learn.
You are complacent at home, don't stay at home.
Do things immediately as you get the opportunity rather than putting them off to first relax.

I know it's hard to do this if you aren't starting from a blank slate, since you feel like even this will be inconsequent to your progress but you either continue fucking up or change now. Very few change from a blank slate rather from a point of sheer desperation mid-way through their opportunity when they realise that they won't get another. Better to realise now than too late.

Thats what i did at the very start of the semester, but i end up zoning out when it goes to slow.

Now im behind cuz i haven't done shit, i want to push through by doing work at home so i can know what we are doing in class, but i keep on procrastinating. Anyway i can force myself to work

If you can't sit down and study by yourself then you're spiritually destined for the factory floor. stop coping and just accept it

Thats stupid to say

Better grades equals more oppurtunities when it comes to jobs
if you truly believed that you would sit down and study lol
this just means you need more proofs and arguments to support the idea of "better grades better jobz"

then you believe you dont need those extra opportunities in life to survive
this is an illness that can be caused by comparing yourself to studyblind asians/indians
youre welcome

if u are addicted to rotting try dopamine loading it worked for me, abstain from dopamine intensive activities early on in the day and study during that time. i think dopamine spikes promote behavioral reinforcement leading u to have the inclination to rot much more
