nihilism is true in the technical philosophical sense, the tension lies between your intellectual realization and the persisting force of your internal drives as a biological animal

nobody does it perfectly

Nihilism is low iq and a coping mechanism. Realism is understanding that things are they way they are, and will keep being that way. Fairness is a moral construct that doesn't change the laws of nature, which governed existence since the beginning. We're not different from animals in the sense of acting on our instincts including, dopamine, and responding to fear. Free will only exists within the limits of what your biology allows, the brain decides how you think, feel and react every single day, within every single moment. Accept that we are meat and bones with complex biological wiring, but at the end of the day even thinking you're doing what you want is still your brain telling you what to act upon.

Simply put, accept you're nothing but the body your consciousness resides in, another cog in a bigger machine, and a role within a hierarchy you can climb up to a certain point. Each person has their limit, and everything happens because of the instincts humans have evolved into throughout history.
