ASCEND IN ONE NIGHT guide:
This guide won’t save your failos and recessions but will definitely ascend you a bit. Probably the most of you reading this have either just stumbled across this thread or have an important event tomorrow and you want to mog.
Note: The effectiveness of this guide varies if you already maintain most of these methods. I also made this very summarized to avoid making it long
HYGIENE:
It’s common sense but sometimes overlooked, what some don’t realize is how much being hygienic can add to your attractiveness. No one would like to approach you if you have greasy hair or bad breath.
WHAT TO DO:
Hairmaxx: Exfoliate your scalp if you haven’t already, use a silicone scalp scrubber and apply a sulfate free shampoo. Shake off excess water then apply a hair mask, heres a link for a hair mask tutorial:
deep conditioning your hair is one of easiest but also effective softmax because it can literally make your hair look so much healthier.
FACE:
Moisturize the area around your eyebrows then shape it using an eyebrow trimmer, follow your eyebrows’ natural shape and just make it more defined. Be very careful that you don’t accidentally shave a chunk off, do it slowly and precisely. This can easily add points to your eye area if done correctly. Make sure you DON’T shave your eyebrows when your skin is dry, the area will become irritated.
SHAVE THAT MUSTACHE
If you want to look cleaner and more youthful, shave off that mustache. The first time I did this, I was shocked on how much of a difference it actually makes. It made my face look cleaner and appealing.
After you’ve done everything in this section, wash your face then apply moisturizer again.
NIGHT PREPARATIONS:
Sleep:
Do NOT eat or drink 3 hours before bed, this is very important if you don’t want to be bloated tomorrow morning.
Make sure you also sleep 8-9 hours before 11 PM, the worst thing you can wake up to is eyebags because they can drag your look down and give a zombie-like appearance.
CLOTHES:
Prepare your clothes before you go to bed, test out different styles and find one that fits you most. This will save a lot of time in the morning, prevents rushing, and guarantees an outfit that you like.
MORNING PREPARATION:
As soon as you wake up, get some sunlight to inform your body that it is already morning, this will also energize you. Then of course, shower but don’t deep condition your hair anymore. Shower as usual.
After you’ve showered, moisturize your face then perform lymphatic drainage. I will link a guide
This helps you get rid of that morning bloat and gives you a sharper look. Wear tinted SPF50+ to block UV rays while also frauding clear skin.
Put on your outfit then style your hair, style it when it’s damp then use a hair blower to add volume and finish it. You can also add hair products like pomade to hold your hair, I don’t recommend texture powder because it can dry out your hair. (my experience)
Drink warm water after eating breakfast, this helps you further debloat through out the day and aids digestion.
FRAGRANCEMAXX:
How you smell can leave a lasting impact on the people you meet. This also boosts your confidence because you walk around knowing that you smell good.
How to choose a fragrance:
You must learn which fragrance to apply depending on the situation. Fresh fragrances or the ones that smell citrusy, minty are meant for the summer. Vanilla and sweet fragrances are built for the winter. This is important because you don’t want to annoy people with your scent. Always remember that Occasion>Season, wear fresh fragrances to the gym even if it’s winter. You won’t want to smell sweet in sweaty environments, trust me. I wear Bleu de Chanel on casual going outs, Ysl Y edp for the gym, and Azzaro the most wanted, Initio side effect, or jean paul gaultier Le male le Parfum on formal events. If you don’t have a fragrance and want to buy only one thats something versatile and can be an all rounder, I recommend YSL Y Edp, it’s mass appealing and can be worn all year round.
