I already have a decent palate but it could always be better any ways to ask for an expander to my ortho?

If you have a decent palate then you can’t get a palate expander maybe if you say your bite is bad or some shit idk much. Or just 3d print one, I’ve seen some files here that are 3d printable marpe, but I would not reccomend it. Just leave it if it’s decent.

Yeah, well my bite is pretty good but I could larp my way into saying the mid and back is not wide enough causing me to bite my tounge, I said last time and they said to wait and see after a little more corrections on my teeth to see if it’s necessary for them to do something about it.

Say you have sleep apnea, your tongue doesn't fit, asymmetry, that your bite is not right when you eat, wider smile

Preesh, is wanting a wider smile or asymmetry a viable reasons for the orthos to give me an expander my insurance covers?

And also will stating that I have sleep apnea lead to other consultations with other doctors?

If asymmetry is huge like your one eye is bit lower or even if you have slightly closet eyes and if your smile is extremely narrow you can say it that you want wider but start with sleap apnea because they're scammers

Most of the times i yes.
I think they need to check it sometimes but this happens is cases if you have overbite, extremely narrow palate, smile, asymmetry, maxxila if it's reccesed and it's the reason if sleep apnea just for case

Yeah we’ll see, the thing is I don’t really any of those issues really, I feel like I could lie into saying my tounge doesn’t fit, bite while chewing is uncomfortable, and that my smile is slightly smaller. These are like the only things I could really make believable visibly and just hope that it’s enough to show I have sleep apnea for insurance coverage on the expander.

So I just got back from the ortho and they said my upper palate was basically perfect and ideally wide, so it would cause much difference even after expansion, I still feel like I could benefit from forward growth, how can I work on this as I’m still in puberty?
