What books to read ? Any books that you read and helped you? How to assess and improve your social skills. I basically have a job as a teacher and salesman - I talk to people for 40 hours per week. Does it make me already highly social-skilled?

Just talk to people and pay attention to them. Sometimes people will talk plenty, but never pay attention to the other person, so they don't improve in their social skills.

Don't waste time reading books, that will only get you more stuck in your head, over analyzing things, which will give you worse social skills.

And I say this as someone who reads a ton, and values learning from books when it's actually applicable.

if you want to read books and study guides to become social, you're going to get 0.0001 percent of the skill that a chad who spent a single day in high school would have received.
