Title. I've done my research, looked into different surgeons, recovery times, costs everything. I've even had a consult with Dr pagnoni, CT scans and even agreed to give me jaw implants and Rhinoplasty everyone around me keeps shooting the idea down.

My parents, friends, even my girlfriend keep telling me there's no need and that I'm fine the way I am and they like me just the way I am and would change nothing. They think I'm being delusional or overly self critical and that I should focus on other things instead of spending thousands of dollars and months recovering. They all keep feeding into my delusions

The thing is I've thought about this for a long time It's not some impulsive decision I genuinely believe it would help me feel better and improve my life. I've been researching this stuff for almost a year. How do I convince them?

How can I leave everything to fly to Italy to rot for 3 months. What will I tell to my parents, my boss, my friends.

Skin lightening is the biggest SMV boost for ethnics, but unfortunately, it isn't all that practical tbh. It's largely a meme/pipedream.

Rhinoplasty 10 years ago was the best decision I ever made. The money isn’t even a factor to consider. You’ll save more money over your life from being attractive than what you’re spend on the surgeries.

Go for it.

brother it's your life , if you know the positive out weighs the negative just do it , people will always have a stigma when it comes to surgery especially for men , but we know how much it can change your life so make your own decisions

I do but I've done months of research and even paid for consults. Korean clinics, local clinics you name it. I've already sunken hundreds of dollars in this

Money isn't the main issue it's more about the logistics and the social aspect of it as an adult who isn't a social recluse and has responsibilities over his head. I don't know how I will be able to explain any of this to my parents, my friend. It's not like I can just disappear for two months without anyone noticing recovery time alone requires serious planning. Not to mention you need to mentally prepare yourself for all this. It isn't easy

The only real problem here is your employer and whether he'll let you work online for three months.

How though?

You already have what most people want in their lives after surgery- you look good as you are right now, tall and have a loving girl.

Why exactly are you doing this

Honestly I wouldn’t really care unless your partner and you have a serious relationship going on and this would be a deal breaker for her. Your parents will always see you as their child and they would always see you as perfect. Your friends just don’t want you to mog them :feelskek:.

Idk tbh my plan was to just lie and tell my family that it’s for medical reasons and not for cosmetic reasons since most of the surgeries I’m getting can be passed off as medical surgeries.

Do not listen to friends and family for things like this because they're never good for feedback, it's not cynicism it's because they're emotionally invested in you to never suggest these things.

However, be careful to not be swayed by your own bias either, if it's a sincere volition then go ahead and do it, although take some more time to think about it, surgeries is life changing and shouldn't be an impulse checkbox.
