If youโ€™re ugly like me you might start avoiding going outside, or looking in mirrors, but how do you prevent this? Obviously you have to start coping. Iโ€™ll start with least to most effective methods.
Method 1 - fake methods
Coping through fake methods that will โ€œascendโ€ you is very popular, mostly because people donโ€™t know the method is even cope. Most likely youโ€™ll find a method from a TikToker and think it will make you a htn by next month. This is a pretty ineffective way of coping because as soon as you realize youโ€™re not ascending from it, your mental will probably tank lower than before you started it.
Method 2 - backburner
This is the method of completely ignoring your looks by occupying yourself with other things. This can include studying, playing video games, or practicing sports. This method is pretty effective because if you donโ€™t have time to think hard about things itโ€™s much harder to become depressed.
Method 3 - sleepmaxing
Sleepmaxing is getting as much sleep as possible. When you wake from long amounts of sleep your mind will be foggy for a while and itโ€™s hard to think about how ugly you are when you can barely think at all. This method is very good, but itโ€™s pretty unrealistic for anyone with a job, or anyone in school, because you need to spend ~13 hours sleeping.
Method 4 - becoming a druggie
This method is pretty self explanatory l. When youโ€™re high or drunk youโ€™re probably not going to think about things like how you look because youโ€™re inebriated. Also if you become addicted it will even help you cope when sober. This may seem strange, but if your addiction is strong enough your main focus will no longer be about your life, but about how to get high again. This is a 100% effective cope, but itโ€™s also terrible for your life so use at your own discretion.
