How to curl eyelashes while having hooded eyes ?

Seriously, I've tried today to curl my eyelashes but it was impossible to catch my eyelashes and put in the curler cuz of my browridge Am I over or there is a good technique ?

I hold it for 5-10 seconds , even more and it last all day

Tbh we cant do much , My eyes are pretty much hooded completely 24/7
