If its medium length and you can play around with it and shape it i would just go with using basic hair products like gel or clay unless there is a specific look you are going for

Analyse your face, see the places you lack such as maybe non projected zygos or dogshit under eye veins because of orbital recession. These examples can be frauded by having some type of long fringe or grown out sides. If you want volume and you have straight hair get some type of layers and texturising powder the shorter ur hair the easier it is for it to hold volume as it is lighter.
