Since there arent really any detailed good threads on this topic i decided to waste some of my precious time to
cover different solutions for people with bad hairlines in specific,
since i gained a lot of knowledge on this topic in the last few years without suffering from any named symptoms .

how to fix a naturally bad Hairline

i wont really be going over hair preservation in this thread , just over surgically options that may or may not be avaiable in youre unique case .

Lets start by Differencing a bad Hairline from a bad upper third

examples of longer Upper third+high set hairline

Yes i used our beloved Matt for this example , he may have godlike bone structure but hes a good and well known case of having a generally longer upper third paired with a higher set hairline which is one of his main flaws .

If you worry about youre hairline and equally suffer from a bad upper third like our beloved Matt , then you should almost never use any surgical advancements ,
which could theoretically balance out youre thirds because

It doesn't actually shorten the face

• The underlying bone structure remains the same.
• It only creates the visual impression of a shorter forehead.

Facial proportions can become unnatural

• If the upper third is long but still balanced with the rest of the face, lowering the hairline too much can make youre face look artificial,
  which we dont want . Since youre head will become overly way more noticeable longer shaped + u will look like a fucking maniac .
  
  
  So in such severe cases id advise to just focus on other flaws and leave the hairline.

  • The scalp is then advanced forward and sutured in a lower position.

  • It is performed much more commonly in women than in men.
    Can also be used to correct asymetric eyebrows at the same time , since face will be lifted
• This may grant instant solutions but comes with way more potential risks and downsides than number two , which is my favourite .

  • Visible scar

      -It also isnt as extreme as a hairline lowering surgery , since your forehead wont be cut open and has a mild recovery process on top of that .
      
      
      - You can design your own hairline which can be theoretically as low as you´d wish it to be just keep in mind that youre forehead wrinkles ;
      
      
      
      
      
      are Another limitation of hair transplantation.
      At some point, grafts may need to be placed into areas that are anatomically part of the forehead rather than the natural hair-bearing scalp that beeing the wrinkle area shown above .

      1. limited donor hair capability , you dont have infinite hair to use for transplanting , usually 6000-8000 Grafts (Hairfollicles).
      that can be taken from the back of the head , where hair is usually more dht resistant and thicker .
      your donor area will mainly be the back of ur head .
      
      2.Multiple proceadures ;
      While average main hair density rests at 90cm2-110cm2 ,Hairtransplants can only grant a certain cm2 density in each proceadure,to ensure less risks etc.
      average being 30cm2 -40cm2 and top surgeons can deliver up to 50cm2-70cm2 in one session they dare to cross that number because the percentage of infections or the percentage of infections aswell as hairfollicle survival rate decreases as the number of cm2 density in one area increases . So keep in mind to split the Goal in two , meaning 50cm2 first proceadure , 40-50cm2 in the second and boom there you go having a perfect super dense hairline BUT .
      
      That also means
    • Higher travelcosts , hotel costs
    • Loooonnnnngggg recovery since ur head will be shaven when undergoing a hairtransplant,
      or some surgeons give the option to ;
      shave donor and recepient areas only ( so you´ll keep 80% of ur hair after the proceadure ) for way more money ofc .
      Still keep in mind that it takes a fully year for the hair to show a final result and meanwhile you will look wierd or be walking arround with a buzzcut and youll have to do it twice to show no signs of ever having a hairtransplant .
    • 2 Years till being fully done and never having to worry about it again .
    • Never hopping of Hairloss medication to keep ur hair aslong as possible .
      
      
      CHOOSE A GOOD FUCKING SURGEON + Hairloss preventation
      
      I hear a lot of people saying
      "Ill just go to turkey and get my hairline done " or not even thinking of taking any type of hairloss preventation medication ,
      when showing even the slightest signs of hairloss or while thinking about lowering their hairline .
      
      Remember hair is life and by going to turkey or other botchholes and not gaining nessecary info on hair/hairloss early on can lead to becoming a baldcel
      or can get you botched .
      
      90% of the surgical work in hairtransplants is being done by hairtechnicians in general since the doctor whos teaching them and whos mainly in charge of them only comes a few times or by the end to check on the technicians work , to place the hair follicles at the start of the hairline , where it matteres the most .
      
      And those technicians who often in 3rd world countries or anywhere could be poorly trained fucking donkeys that are being compleatly left alone with you could leave you like the photos below while the Doctor couldnt care less about you . btw photos show 25cm2-35cm2 results performed horribly
      
      
      
      
      
      
      
      
      So keep in mind to do extensive research about where you go to get a transplant , there is only a hand of surgeons who transplant in the higher density areas such as 45cm2 - 70cm2 which is called dense packing , you will gonna have to make sure , that they have such capability and care for their reputation and not just take your money , leave you botched and expect you be dissapointed to call them back in a year after being botched for a "correcture" which is a big business model from very well known clinics to such as .

      which will not just grant trashy results most of the time , they even destroy or use more donor hair than needed for less results .
      they can just be attractive because they offer packages like organising ur flight , hotel etc. but that shit is just bait .
      They either expect you to never call them back after such a big dissapointing result or call the mback for round two
      
      Source ur surgeons id recommend from people who gained experience by being a pacient or i highly also recommend subreddits dedicated to such thematics or certain youtubers talking about such topics .
