HOW TO FIX BRUTAL DEEP BITE

My deep bite is so brutal- When i do a slight jut and let my jaw droop down, i look normal

but when i bite down, it looks so brutal, my mandible gets shorter, chin gets shorter, i look like i have down syndrome, its the most brutal flaw

im 16- is there any realistic way of fixing deep bite without surgery but WITH appliances? I can get pretty much any orthotropic/orthodontic appliance, maybe even some orthodontic procedures

there is no secret method to fix it the best option (since ur not an adult yet) is braces + herbst or twin block to make ur mandible forward and line the bite/teeth up. even then u wont have a perfect jawline as ur chin would’ve likely grew small from the deep bite but u could just get genio or cosmetic surgery after to get ideal looking projection. if ur worried braces will recess ur maxilla they likely wont and u can just discuss it with ur ortho to make sure they don’t do extractions or excessive retraction. on org ppl make up these copes so they can avoid actually putting effort in to get the money for braces

Same problem I have a really nice jawline until I bite down, only way to fix for us it to get orthodontic surgery but goodluck convincing your insurance jfl

why tf would you rope, it's probably not that big of a deal. Just get appliances for it and optimize test, jaw growth is continued till 25 or so, so just max test and maintain good postural hygiene

I'm interested too. I don't honestly see a way to fix this past 12 without surgery. Homeoblock may help, since some evidence indicates it can change bones in adults, but we don't currently have any way to fix SFS with devices. Take HGH if you're not already, and touching your incisors together instead of molars may help the molars to erupt if they haven't already.
