How to fix hypopigmentation

A month or so ago, I applied salicylic acid 50% on my face (on a small portion of my face) and forgot about it (I was only supposed to leave it on for a minute).

I checked after 27 minutes and my face was burning so bad, and I think I killed almost every single melanocyte on the spot I applied it to, I washed it out and there was a spot on my face that was literally albino white, and I haven't seen that much progress since then. Does anyone know how to fix this? Has anyone had a similar issue? I don't want to have to wear concealer every day.

It should, and I definitely hope so, but the scar has barely healed since the incident.
I will consider going to a dermatologist to analyze it. Hopefully something can be done.
