I have tried so much shit with my hair. I’ve tried short, longer, curly and straight. But I can’t finde anything that I feel that suits me. I don’t know if it is my hair texture. I have been thinking of trying to make my hair a darker brown, or more like a beach blond. I don’t want to hear no shit about. “It was never a the hair”. Anyone got some solid tips to what would match me. What products I should try to use and so on. I would really appreciate it.

Hello, I have a similar hair texture and it took me years of trial and error to figure out how to style it. You have a good hair type; you just need to pinpoint the correct products. What do you currently use?

There are a couple things you can try… Since your hair has finer strands I would stay away from any heavy creams or leave-ins (definitely no clays or pomades) because it will weigh your hair down. For consistent lift, you can try a mousse. There are many you can try, and you might need a stronger one than you think. If that doesn’t work/isn’t enough, you can use a water-based gel after for wave/curl definition. Make sure not to use too much of either product or your hair will look flat and like shit.

I also suggest not trying to fight the natural texture. Since your hair looks relatively wavy, I would not go for any style requiring it to look straight because it will end up looking sus and you will damage your hair long term. I would suggest a medium length wavy style like you have in that one picture.

Finally, if you are not already doing so, try using a diffuser to dry your hair. If you tilt your head around while diffusing, it prevents it from sitting flat at the roots and dry less frizzy.

Anyone saying hair is cope is retarded

I have tried this slick back style. I don’t have any products in here. So I want to try it again but I just need to figure out what products to use
