How to fix this ingrown hair red zit

The hair came out but the follicle and skin around where the hair was is still red / inflamed.

How to fix this?
I'm looking into pulsed dye laser or maybe the dermatologist can excise it (leaves a line scar).

Any solutions for my problem?
