So as many of you already know I now have invisaligns in and have to wear elastics at night just like this:
So therefore I scheduled and appointment for a sleep study to diagnose sleep apnea. You may ask why know?
Well very simple. Just look at the direction of force by the elastics in the pic: One of the main side products of treating a posterior open bite like this is that a major force pulls the jaw back. This is not fraud btw because I have to be able to get my orthodontic treatment without apnea. I'll ask the doc though to be completely sure.
This means my airways will become even narrower than they already are. Together with sleeping on the back without a pillow I'll sure get the needed AHI value to get bimax covered by insurance.
