Botb microneedling guide with tretoin as I remember
But at the same time, I heard you shouldnt microneedle if you have active acne. I have a dermapen should I do it even though I have active acne for scars (not OP btw)

Niacinamide, azelaic acid, retinol to retinal to tretinoin over time. Wear sunscreen. No UV damage. Derma stamp.

So you just need to double cleanse, clean your dermapen with 70% alcohol and start stamping? Am I missing a step?

i started off with tret due to derma, it was a high dosage too 0.5% and i saw no visible change for a couple of months, so i simply just stopped

never tried derma stamp and barely put on subscreen, is thid damaging my skin further?

Never start with tret. You have to have your skin adjust. Derma stamping is good since it boosts collagen production. However, do not do it over active acne. You NEEEED sunscreen if you want to get rid of acne scars. This means no tanning sadly. Get a sunscreen that protects you from UVA as well.

im kind of retarded but derma stamping is equivalent to microneedling, correct? theyre both the same thing? And when you say i cant do it over active acne, does that imply that i can still do it while having active acne? I just have to purposely avoid areas with acne?

what type of sunscreen would u most recommend? theres one thats also a moisturizer that CeraVe makes, not sure if its decent or necessary though

just realized that you said UVA as well, then do u have any recs that work well for you?

and do i go back to a derma to get anything that necessitates a perscription, or is the skin care routine i can get for no all over the counter?

Asking bc i hate making appointments

Dermastamp around active acne (avoiding it) if it isn't your whole face. If you have hella active acne, first work on getting rid of it before derma stamping.

For the sunscreen I recommend this: Sun Essence SPF50 PA++++

The skin care routine you can get over the counter.

You don't seem to have any acne scars to me.....

Wait a minute

Thats not you, you're a little jeet.

In that case, dermapenning with HA + Matrixyl 3000 would get the job done, or a more effective method getting fractional laser.

Overtime frequent use of retinoids will also show decent results, but not if they're deep scars

Good luck

lowest effort evis ever :lul::lul::lul::lul:
I didn't need to dig any deeper, granted everything about you is surface level.

Nothing wrong with being Indian, or 5'7, or a virgin kkhv, but there's plenty wrong in pretending that you're not.

I can dig deeper and make a megathread if you wish, but I don't think you're worth the time. It's only proper that i make it known you're a little cockroach while exerting myself to the least extent

Best of luck to you and your journey.

idk if ur autistic or trolling but its fairly obvious the jeet post was a joke. Migjtve just outed urself as ND. I have been open about being a manlet, and I’ve complained about it multiple times.

I do have acne scars in the picture you sent but they’re small and apparently not visible due to quality. And as I said the acne scars just change bits of my skin color, barely have any that are deep or even shallow indents

If i wanted to fraud I’d use someone better looking

Small chance you get a reaction to the UV laser

Or

Very bad inflammation and swelling post dermapen

Usually disappears entirely after 7 days, and has plenty of other benefits.

You can’t go outside for a few days in both cases

@spust @Organelle @jotunnr

Should i derma stamp it myself or should i just ask my nurse mom to do microneedling? Is there a difference?

Which is preferred

To be completely honest with you, there's not much difference, and you can do it yourself.

Sanitize the area (and your microneedle roller), wash your face & hands thoroughly

Lightly move the microneedle roller up and down, cover the areas with acne scars and apply your retinoid. Do not wash off

You should not do this more than once a week, let your skin barrier heal

do you have any recommendations for a specific microneedling roller? or would anything with good reviews on amazon work

Also do u have a specific brand rec for retinoids? again im not very well versed so i have almost none of these items

Also you specifically said microneedling roller, and not dermastamp. Which one do you mean? Are you just telling me to do the microneedling on myself rather than dermastamping?

Dermastamping's ass and inconsistent, and you might miss a couple spots on accident

Adapalene or tretinoin 0.05/0.1%, whatever your skin tolerates. You're gonna have to experiment which percentage works, but I recommend 0.05% first

Woops :lul::lul::lul::lul:

Best bet is getting them prescribed or Indiamart

Just call up ur pharmacy, you cant get tretinoin without a prescription. If you got prescribed it before at most it might require a single doctors visit to have him refill the prescription again.

Never stop using tretinoin. When you stop getting acne it works best, I used to have acne primarily on my forehead and it ended up shifting torwards my cheeks and I pretty much dont have any acne scars on my forehead anymore.
