How to go about student loans

My parents want me to get student loans for my four-year finance/Math degree, I'm not an American but it is a top school for my country and will cost less than 30k for all 4 years

They already have close to this amount saved for me to use for uni but now they are saying I should just keep it for future mortgage or rent when I graduate

Anybody take on student loans here? Any high IQ methods to somehow exploit this or just advice in general?

Take the loan. One thing rich people always do is finance purchases through debt. That way you keep the money you have, get more money and pay it off slowly into the future. Pretty easy choice I'd say.

if in the uk then take the loan and do minimum repayments for your whole career or pay it off within 6ish years, anything inbetween is pointless
