how to improve social interaction?

i haven’t been to a party in months, not that i enjoye them anyway, i always left pretty early on. my prom is unfortunately very soon, and my mother is forcing me to go, even to the after party at this guys house. i rot inside my room and the gym all day and don’t talk to anyone besides random ass ppl, and it’s never face to face. i plan on taking benzos with me to cope through the night. does anyone have any tips on how to behave etc ?
