i usually dont say anything on the forum but:
dhtmaxx/androgenmaxx, they are the responsibles for terminal hair growth (thick, dense hair) in puberty and for prolonging anagen phase.

Best you can do is get on good shampoo (anti-hairloss if you are losing hair), use conditioner as well as using hair oil regularly to try keep it rich instead of dry. Other than this it is very difficult to increase density and thickness, as both of these are usually genetic factors (i.e. density of hair-cells you are born with as well as thickness of hair/hair type which is genetis).

I dropped shampoo when i was like 8 and only use organic conditioner sometimes. I still have my baby hairs n im almost 18 lol.
I havent experienced any recession n dont see the signs for that aswell, but will hop on fin or dut after puberty

I do the same but my hair doesn't suffer from Male Pattern Baldness either it's just too thin and less in number.

Have u tried a powder for it? im pretty sure it exists.
Also if ur talking ab facial hair, you could shave it, so it grows back with the appearance of being darker/thicker.
