TLDR: I cut everyone loose if the single thing is off, how to fix?
I think I need advice but don't know a better fucking place to post this?
My problem is that I can make friends easily, people want to talk to me, chat, hang out etc. but I just can't imagine being long-term friends with almost any of them. The tiny minority that I seem to like, still, single thing is off and I wanna cut them loose: I treat everyone how I want to be treated so it annoys tf out of me when people say that we're friends or smh and show disrespect in one way or another (consistently). For example - the person is always late.
I also narrow down the potential circle with my own preferences. I have a friend that we were really close with, great person - is always there to help but used to cancel on plans ALL THE TIME without any reason and didn't even bother to tell me. Ofc It pisses me off. I am trying to be understanding but as far as im concerned there's nothing to understand if it happens 80% of the time and he doesn't even bother to notify me.
He's also so slow I just can't stand it anymore: have to explain and simplify everything. That doesn't help my patience as well. Many similar examples.
I understand that it's a ME problem but how do I go about it? I can't just stop caring or pretend that I don't care. Most people seem either hella delusional or dumb or whatever.
