I'm not sure I don't have curls myself

But this guy in the lecture hall who sits next to me has this hair but slightly longer

He uses some leave in conditioner that is specifically for "curly hair"

Just go find some and try it out

I personally used to oil me hair to keep that slight wet look. I have some friends who do that too with curls but oils may have a smell to it.
