How to know if LF 2 with Giant will be better than regular LF 1 ?

Title

I'm white and around LTN level of recession , with decent bone mass and retrusive mandible with steep angle, Short face Syndrome.

Will LF 2 benefits me more than bimax with regular LF 1 ?

I was planning to go with Ramieri but I see this before and after from Giant instead :

Capture dcran 6

Capture dcran 1

I have X RAY s of my skull , ask me if you want me to post it here.

6 ft 183cm , gymcel , white pheno

never got me anything besides 45 + roasties ( approach me and invited me at her home in a bar ) or fat / overweight girls

face is king and as a strong LTN this is all I can get since 2020

Only needed if your nose bridge is caved in.
LF2 is suited for a very specific kind of deformity, it’s not really useful if your nose bridge area is fine.

Think about if you cut there and advance it you are going to have a massive fucking step unless you get a forehead implant to match it.

High cut LF1 + malar implants are probably more useful for most.

I’d want to see CT slices rather than a ceph scan to be honest.

No actually i have decent projection in the nose bridge area + nasion is enough projected to not be a big failo . But i'm afraid my nose area will stay behind with a regular LF1 and also my infra orbital recession is very bad.

I'm planning a drop down supra/ forehead implant because I also want to make my round orbitals square and larger in the outer ridge and gaining additional sagittal forward growth .

Do you think regular LF1 + bimax and infra/cheekbone implants would do the same job as LF 2 for mid face area ( mine and paranasal + LF1 are a bit recessed and unprojected ) ?

I'm due to have my 2nd consultation with Ramieri in February

Well just remember an over projected nose bridge is not a good trait.
Lefort 2 will move it out, and your whole nose.

Considered individual drop down supras to avoid the coronal incision? Ramieri told me he doesn’t do supras at all JFL.

Can’t really say about details without seeing full CT scan, this stuff is quite nuanced, I would strongly recommend getting one done as it really helps decision making.

I was planning to have regular bimax + genio with Ramieri and then do full face implants with Pagnoni as I just have enough money to afford bimax with braces in 2026 and will need to save another 25k to get the implants done years later.

However until today that was my initial plan , but then I realized I just be better off going straight to LF 2 as my whole LF 2 area could be more projected , including my nose . I think I will be hard capped at strong MTN with regular LF1 + implants ( starting from LTN )

I will book an appointment with Pagnoni or Celal and ask them straight if I can be a LF2 candidate .

I will tell Ramieri in february that I will probably cancel my plans with him , as I need LF2 and not just regular LF1+ implants.

You may need LF2 and LF1 together to match the BSSO advancement. Can’t tell from ceph, it’s just to consider.

I really liked Ramieri and he would have been my preferred surgeon… but I really need supra implants!

We have a very similar timeline, what country are you in?

I need infras plus trimax , you think giants plus rameiri is the best for this? @NZb6Air told me he is the best

I live in France.

I would definitely go with Ramieri for trimax alone because he is so good to solve SFS and add the lower third height I need.

then choose Pags for implants because he had more experience with saddle and does drop down supras.

Just Realized cosmetic LF2 would be cherry on cake as my upper maxilla is flat and non projected.

Wonder if it is possible to perform a LF2 fracture in révision after having done a LF 1 with custom plates and a BSSO years ago.

Seems like you have to choose between either regular LF 1 or LF 2 for practical reason and this will be your ultimate maxilla osteotomy.

I don’t see why you couldn’t do LF2 as a revision , but you’d have to be careful it didn’t interfere with your saddle infras or the plates for the LF1. You’d also probably need a second BSSO to keep the mandible aligned with the maxilla.

Your budget must be immense, I will just go with Pagnoni for all of it in one surgery - just LF1 - I can’t afford to keep going back.

I m a studycel in finance so money won't be an issue in 5-6 years making 40k€

I think I will do bimax +regular LF 1 with Ramieri in 2026 as I can't stand anymore being incel and recessed in the process of studyceling and then wagecucking for 4 years before getting the 35k for LF 2 with Celal.

And who knows maybe regular bimax would gave me so much benefits after getting it maybe I won't find LF 2 as necessary.

Then I ll pay 50k all in one with Celal for revision LF 2 and full face implants.
