I had plenty of normal conversations with other guys in school, college, activity clubs, etc. and I was still left behind - they would go to party, travel, visit bars and nightclubs, pick up girls, etc. without me....
No looks - you aren't gonna be their "friend", no one wants to be seen with a short, nerdy, funny looking guy, while other guys who had the looks were accepted in their circle, even if they didn't "vibe" together and would often insult, mock or put each other down.
