By no means am I a self-hating Indian but I'm not blind to how we're currently viewed these days. I'd just like to know what I can do, as an Indian, in order to reach my full potential.

Here's a quick list of things I've done so far for the past almost decade now:

- Worked out frequently to the point where I've gotten a decent physique
- Showered and groomed myself, of course not forgetting the deodorant
- Started getting into fragrances and wearing some whenever I can
- Started dressing better
- I understand that some people say that the bad odor attributed to us is due to the food we eat. I'm not really sure if that's true or not but while I like Indian food I usually cook for myself and eat just regular chicken, pasta, etc. that you'd usually consume in the west since I like to track my macros

I've gotten compliments from my friends and coworkers on my appearance, though I don't really put too much stock into that since they're all male. I understand that it's very hard to break preconceptions but I'm genuinely interested to know what else I can do to improve myself.

Keep doing what you’re doing bhai. It’s great that you don’t smell like shit and you’re hitting the gym

its would be hard, i think most indian get cucked by skin texture part which is the hardest to fix, unless you born with high class skin

The thing is that, the indian race has a BAD reputation, and just a lower attractives compared to the most used optimal appearance if that makes sense? People at the looksmaxing community perceive attractivenes with how good their features are, but most features that they like are from the white race, and the indians are a mix of african and asian, which does not look similar.

My point is that, you might not even be ugly, you are just indian.

Try to make yourself appear further away from stereotypes so make sure you look very put together and clean, like to an almost axtreme degree and make yourself not very unnerdy as well but dont go in the thug/ streetwear direction since that has its fair share of negative connotations to

I would say keep your hair in a non messy hairstyle like a very put together middlepart of side part or just in between so 60 40 with soem wax/pomade or slickback something like that

And wear like kinda business casual clothing, a lot of white and non wrinkly clothing

Yeah, I'm not really into dressing in streetwear and the like, as it's not really the kind of person I am. As far as stereotypes go there are very few of them I really fit into. I guess I'm religious and love my family but those hardly seem like negative traits lol.

And I forgot to mention, I don't have have the accent.

The white clothing part is pretty solid ngl. I've heard black people wear white clothing to create contrast with their skin color. My skin isn't really that dark but I suppose I could try wearing white more often, thank you.

Also when you wear fragrance mostly stay away from beast mode projection fragrancss and stay away from things like oud, cumin niche types of musk, civet, animalic leathers, incence certain fruity notes like passion fruit

Stick to things like cleaner leathers, citrus, floral, etc

Noted. Do you have any fragrance recommendations like that. I've got the cash to spend.

Yeah i also think when you wear white clothing you just look more out together to since it just looks lmrwally clwa. And never goes wrong

I also just like it so i might be biased

This guy has put out some good videos for looksmaxxing for you indians:

But general gist of it is, you first have to look less indian. You can do that by lightening skin. And then you can proceed to get cosmetic surgery to fix your flaws

Be different from all the other indians who are trying to be among the trendy shit to blend in with the "foreigners"

They just end up looking the same as those generic Pinterest fits (cargo pants indians are the most common) NEVER WEAR CARGO PANTS AS AN INDIAN YOU ARENT DIFFERENT.

instead be less flashy and more simple yet sleek/clean (dress within your age group who isn't making clothes his life).

If you have an indian accent then DO NOT try to have a white american accent. its so obvious and its so clear that you're trying to hard. I work as a barista part time and they sometimes do this to seem within the western society its so cringe. so just be normal.

Everything else is cool. Just don't indirectly be a self hating indian (trying so hard to look like a foreigner).

Personally i think you should look into matier premiere, they smell extremely high quality and amazingly blended, my favs are radical rose and falcon leather, fredric malle is amazing but they can often be ridiculously expensive

I also have byredo blavk saffron which is amazing, its a bit of that fresh car smell wih a great violet so imagne like ahat youd imagne a expensivehotel room would smell like

All sandallwoods scents would be amazing, penhaligons william is perfect, the rest of penhaligons are good too, van cleef santal blanc is fig and sandall wood and smells amazing, kind of like how youd imagne clouds smell like,

Iris vanilla combo is classic and works and poeple like it, ive worn penhaligons mr thompson to parties and gotten insane amounts of compliments, dior homme intense and givenchy gentleman are same kind of genre and very good too

A few other random suggestions is nishane hacivat, versetily good lasting power, a bunch of tom fords have scents that really fit the name and bottle so you know what youre getting and they are good, a hit overpriced tho, terre dhermes is a great manly vetiver scent, ds and durga has tons of bangers vut also very ecpensive, byredo casablanca lily is great

I was born in the US, so I don't have that accent. I'll make sure to avoid cargo pants at all costs, though my friend group always lumped that and the triforce t-shirt combo as redditcore (I do love Zelda though lol).

I'll take into account what you mentioned about the overly trendy clothing. I've been curious about designer but if that's the case I'll just stick with simple stuff.

Ovr personal final recomendation is radical rose or sicilian leather if you dont like rose scents, terre dhermes or santal blanc if you wanna be a bit more understated and pdm layton for a simple good cold weather acent that is strong without being annoying

It took 7 yrs for blud to learn this

Do skincare. Use tret (consult good dermat), vit c , moisturizer. Hopefully reduce the brownness of our skin.

This kinda worked for me
