ANDROGENS
Introduction:
- Contrary to popular belief, the lower third is very malleable and susceptible to change even POST puberty, while the room for longitudinal growth is small, its the exact opposite with appositional growth.
So what really works and what doesn't? What does my lower third even consist of that i can max out without going under the knife?
Realistically, the only things you can change without going under the knife/steroids is,,
1. Gonions
2. Ramus
Medical Intervention:
I know it sounds a bit counterintuitive for me to explain what you could do without going under the knife then suggesting going under the knife, but i have to get this out the way first:
- Sliding Genioplasty (Chin Osteotomy): A surgeon cuts the lower border of the mandible and slides it forward.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Permanently increases chin projection and alters vertical facial height without using implants.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Permanently increases chin projection and alters vertical facial height without using implants.
- Mandible Implants: Surgical placement of biocompatible material directly onto the jawbone through incisions inside the mouth.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Widens the jaw, creates sharp mandibular angles, and establishes a seamless ear-to-chin transition.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Widens the jaw, creates sharp mandibular angles, and establishes a seamless ear-to-chin transition.
- Orthognathic Surgery (Mandibular Osteotomy / BSSO):Bilateral Sagittal Split Osteotomy involves cutting the lower jaw bone behind the molars to shift the entire tooth-bearing segment of the lower jaw forward or backward.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Corrects severe skeletal overbites or underbites, structurally projecting a recessed jawline or bringing back a protruding lower third to restore proper bite occlusion.

- Orthodontic Appliances (Twin Block, Herbst, Herbst-type, or Forsus):These appliances force the jaw forward into the correct position.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Over time, this constant forward posturing stimulates growth at the jaw joint (condyle), permanently projecting a recessed chin
- Aesthetic Outcome: Over time, this constant forward posturing stimulates growth at the jaw joint (condyle), permanently projecting a recessed chin
- MARPE: Placed mechanically on the upper jaw, widening the maxilla even further.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Improves chin projection and gives off a more square appearance rather than a narrow one.
DISCLAIMER:
Before you get any of these enhancements done, analyze your failos. I see niggas all the time with perfectly compact midfaces and wide maxillas talking about "Im gonna get marpe im gonna marpe" You're gonna look like JawHacks dumbass nigga. Look at the opposite of the aesthetic outcomes and see if you have any of these as problems. If you do, you know where to go.

Facial Muscles:
Facial muscles play an important role in how your face is presented, with less developed facial muscles leading to slightly narrower face. (there are exceptions to the rule).
- Masseter: The main muscle responsible for chewing, located at the angle of the jaw.
- Aesthetic Outcome: When developed, it widens the lower third of the face to create a prominent, square, and angular jawline. Less development keeps the lower face narrower and more oval.
- Mastic Gum: roughly 10 times tougher than regular chewing gum. Reusable and highly effective. 1 hour a day max.
- Hard Foods: Incorporate denser, chewier foods into your diet (mostly meat.)
DO NOT GO OVERBOARD OR YOU WILL GET TMJ.
- Mentalis: The muscle situated at the central tip of the chin.
- Aesthetic Outcome: Controls chin elevation and lip protrusion. Hyperactivity creates a wrinkled, "peach-pit" texture and can make the jaw look recessed, while relaxation elongates and smooths the profile.
- Intraoral massages: Place a clean thumb inside your mouth between your lower teeth and your bottom lip, and your index finger on the outside of your chin. Gently pinch the muscle tissue between your fingers and massage in tiny circles to release deep knots.
- Botox: Injecting small amounts of botulinum toxin into your mentalis muscle to prevent it from contracting.
⚠ DO NOT DIY THE BOTOX UNLESS YOU'RE EXPERIENCED.

Mechanical loading:
I hope yall already know where im going with this. If you haven't already guessed it yes im talking about bonesmashing.
Spectrum Aesthetics has an exact guide on why this works and how to do it, I'm gonna keep it short and sweet
FIRST STEP: ANALYZE YOUR FAILOS
- Take a clear picture of yourself.
- Ask Gemini or Claude to give you fillers to make you as model tier as possible.
- If it modifies the ramus or the chin, you know where to hit.
SECOND STEP: APPLY A ROUTINE
- Take your trusty hammer and hit medium-hard twice a day until it swells.
- Take the swelling as an indicator, but use your instinct as well.
Like I said, I'm not gonna go too much into this since SpectrumAesthetics already made a guide on how to hammer.

How Testosterone Sculpts the Jawline
During puberty and young adulthood, testosterone acts as a primary driver for facial remodeling by targeting specific growth zones in the lower face.1. Elongating the Mandible
- The Mechanism: Testosterone stimulates the condylar cartilage, which is the primary growth zone located at the upper back of the jaw.
- The Result: This cellular stimulation drives the lower jaw bone forward and downward, significantly increasing overall mandible length.
2. Enhancing Chin Projection
- The Mechanism: It promotes appositional bone growth, triggering osteoblasts (bone-building cells) to deposit new bone matrix directly onto the front of the jaw.
- The Result: This localized remodeling thickens and broadens the anterior symphysis (the chin area), pushing it forward for a more distinct, prominent projection.
The Takeaway: Testosterone is necessary for forward projection.
Being COMPLETELY honest, I don't think you should take androgens past 18 if you're looking for any facial structure growth UNLESS you've had hypogonadism and missed out on a bunch of dimo cause you're an estrogenic sissy
Anyways let's get into it, this is a beginner cycle, and i don't recommend if you've already ran a cycle previously.
| 600MG OF TEST ENANTHATE FOR 18 | WEEKS ON END + ANCILLARIES |
|---|---|
| Ancillaries | Function |
| Aromasin 10mg 3x a week | keeps estriol stable, prevents facial bloating and mood swings. |
| Tadalafil 5mg daily | Cardioprotective, keeps the soft meat away (helps w boners) |
| 375IU hCG twice a week | Prevents your balls from turning into peanut size and infertility |
| NAC 1100 mg | Directly boosts glutathion production for antioxidation |
| Vitamin D 10000IU | Modulates immune response |

That's it for now, hope yall enjoyed the read
